Support for Persons with Disabilities
At FHI, we work to ensure women, girls, men and boys with disabilities have access to vital services and have the opportunity to apply their skills and capacities to benefit themselves, their families and communities.
Women’s Economic Empowerment
pFHI’s Women’s Economic Empowerment Program helps ensure that vulnerable women have access to the training and resources they need to develop and sustain productive livelihoods and pursue economic opportunities.
Biodiversity Conservation
FHI’s approach to biodiversity conservation is to ensure wildlife and habitat management and protection; research and monitoring; and restoring natural landscapes, which often includes species reintroductions.
Health and Nutrition
We work towards the survival and wellbeing of the world’s most vulnerable communities; while ensuring they obtain the knowledge and resources to keep themselves and their families healthy and nourished.
Agriculture and Food Security
This program advances food security by helping families and individuals meet their need for a reliable source of quality food and sufficient resources to produce or purchase it.
Education
We believe that all children have the right to an education and that it provides one of the best routes out of poverty. Our work enables families, communities and schools to provide nurturing care with playful and effective pedagogy.
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
We strive to provide access to clean water as close as possible to schools, households, and health facilities. We scale up our work in sanitation, focusing on both building the demand for sanitation services.
