Our Work Across the District
Improving Health
FHI’s health programs in the Agotime Ziope District save lives and protect communities from deadly diseases. We help mothers safely give birth and deliver life-saving vaccines. In the last 10 years, FHI has worked hand-in-hand with the Agotime Ziope District Directorate of Health to save lives and prevent diseases. We have improved health safety standards and dramatically slowed the spread of malaria, tuberculosis, and countless infectious diseases.
Improving the Quality of Education and Learning Outcomes
We believe that all children have the right to a quality, safe, inclusive, and transformational education that empowers them for life.The main goal of our education program is to improve the lives of extremely poor children in a sustainable way in the Agotime Ziope District, by increasing their access to quality primary education and supporting wellbeing
Increasing Access to Safe Water, Sanitation, and Good Hygiene Behaviors
Working in the Agotime Ziope District, we strive to provide access to clean water in local schools. We also provide clean water in communities and healthcare facilities so that community members have access to the water they need for drinking and other activities, and patients and healthcare staff can wash their hands and keep their facilities and instruments clean to care for their patients and protect themselves.
